We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef for a full-service Latin Concept.
As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Corp Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment and is eager to contribute to our culinary success.

Responsibilities
• Assist the Corp Chef in planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities.
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and seasonal specials.
• Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices.
• Monitor food costs and assist in budgeting for kitchen operations.
• Address any issues that arise during service to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications
• Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or food service environment.
• Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices.
• Experience in inventory management and cost control within a kitchen setting.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage shifts effectively.
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
• A passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu development.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.

Pay: $72,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
