Food and Beverage Manager – Fort Lauderdale Beach

Role Summary:
As our Food and Beverage Manager, you will be hands-on in every aspect of the hotel’s food and beverage operations. With a focus on quality, service, and innovation, you’ll lead the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving the performance of the restaurant and banquet functions.

Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership & Development
• Schedule, supervise, and train staff to meet brand standards and foster exceptional service.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to ensure the team is briefed on events and specials.
• Oversee recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions to maintain a high-performing team.
• Support employee growth with leadership training and incentives, aiming to boost satisfaction and retention.
• Operations & Guest Satisfaction
• Maintain brand standards across all food and beverage operations.
• Handle guest concerns with urgency and warmth, ensuring satisfaction through personalized service.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Banquet teams for seamless event execution, from initial setup through final billing.
• Analyze guest feedback and financial reports to proactively address improvement areas.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, EEOC, and health codes.
• Inventory & Budget Management
• Manage monthly inventories and implement breakage/loss reduction programs.
• Monitor labor and food costs to optimize expenses within budget.
• Requisition food, equipment, and other supplies to maintain inventory quality and efficiency.
• Participate in creating annual and monthly budgets, driving short- and long-term operational plans.
• Service & Standards
• Oversee banquet functions to ensure service quality from start to finish.
• Promote sales through employee incentive plans and creative initiatives to enhance the guest experience.
• Conduct regular training on safety, service protocols, and brand standards.
• Ensure the accurate posting of all banquet charges.

Qualifications:
• Education & Experience
• Culinary school or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in food and beverage or hospitality-related roles, ideally within hotel operations.

Your First Few Months:
During your onboarding, you’ll become acquainted with the property, staff, and brand standards. You’ll then take on increasing leadership in food and beverage operations, actively contributing to the hotel’s success.
